How can I switch to a AI/generative AI career?

I have never worked on AI or ML. Seeing the career opportunities in AI (specially generaive AI) I want to enter into it. I am interested into AI and not ML. ML is too much of mathematics I feel. I am golang and mictoservices based software architect. How can I make this switch? Will attending some udemy cources and doing a project help? Is it possible in golang or do I must have to switch to python?

Maths is compulsory for both AI and ML if you want actual quality jobs/work. Calculus, ability coverting maths equations into programble algorithms, permunation and combinations, trigonometry, statistics, etc.
Ability to develop new algos and not just regular dsa is required. Go is fine but majority of the packages are written using numpi and panda libs of python hence you ll need to learn python too. Its an uphill tasks of rigorous 2 years at least if your good at maths. there are better courses at coursera to help you.
