How do I make profit off my blog?

I have a very niche blog and each article when I post on reddit, trends at 10k+ views within 8 hours. Some of those also made news worthy headlines in other blogs. This however brings no profit to me. I am not even famous. My work is accepted by others, I get a few followers on mastodon, github or twitter and that's it. Nothing much. This morning at 9:30 I posted an article and right now it is at 11k views and 30+ upvotes on reddit. Which is a big deal on the subreddit I posted (can't reveal to maintain privacy).

Advertisements are a bad idea cause people are highly technical and very likely using an ad blocker. Affiliates are there but no one goes through them, making a purchase is different beast. Donation link there but no one pays. Any other ideas?
