How do I quit my job

I am working as a software developer in my company, and I'm getting paid less than an intern here. it's been 6 months but they asked me to sign a bond for 2 years and in the desperation of getting a job as a fresher, I signed it. The bond value is 2lakh rupees (+ 50k extra if I don't serve the 2 month notice period). Now everything's miserable and I'm getting amazing offers from other companies but cannot switch.

My company is a service based company where they rank employees on the basis of who's working more on client projects and bringing more money. If I'm working on any in-house project, they'll ask me to do everything myself and will give me like 15 days to build a product that can be a whole startup by itself.

Unrealistic expectations, getting paid less than what my market value is, no seniors to take guidance from, no learning and a very chaotic environment, all of this is taking a toll on me.

My team used to have 7 people and the company asked everyone to resign by themselves because the company doesn't have any projects for them, or they'll not get their experience letters, relieving letters, UAN numbers etc. I wish they would ask me to leave but I'm a resourceful employee to them.

What should I do so that they'll ask me to leave as well? Should I start taking a lot of holidays, start denying work requests or write poor code? What are some absolute best ways to get terminated from the job?

TLDR: I want to leave my job but I'm stuck due to a bond contract, what can I do to get terminated from my company?

If you are this early in your career just leave, they won’t be able to enforce the bond and later in career it won’t matter also plus seeing that you have an offer the next company will also be willing to work along with you

So a 6 month gap won't matter later in my career? Will anyone not question me if I've worked previously in a company and there's no record of it?

You’ll have payslips to show that you were working rest you can keep email communication keep the joining letter offer letter write a resignation email and keep it for record

The “bond” is not legally enforceable. If you’re getting a better offer, you are free to leave. There is no legal problem, but a “moral” one. This company is going to show up in every background check of yours but as time goes, this fact will get faded.

If your new company is offering you a significant hike and a joining bonus, you might be able to be even serve the bond with minimal financial hit.

If you want to get fired, you can just layback, not adhere to timelines and do your work at your own pace. If folks are pushing you beyond your capability, say you can’t do it and eventually looking at how this company works - they’ll ask you to leave. 🥲

yeah the bond isn't a mandatory thing but I also need my relieving and experience letters that's why I'm trying to get fired.

Get them to fire you. Don’t follow perform well, hurt a few people in powers ego and they will start making plans to fire you through performance issues.

You dont require your experience letter, or anything else for that matter. Be honest to yourself and to your new company. They wont cover the cost, but they would be ok with you not having the letter. You can share your payslips, bank statements, epfo statements as a salary proof if needed. And if they don’t agree, keep finding a better job - and you will find a better job.

Don’t be afraid of taking the leap to a better life. If your current company is what stands in the way, have faith and courage that you will surpass them.

Industry is massive, after few years this will feel like another lifetime. Do not let them dictate your future, and move on.

I'm just worried about things like 5 years later this mustn't be the reason why I get rejected from a job. The next company I'm joining, it's a startup and I'm a founding member so it's not an issue. I just want to leave this toxic org!

FloatingBiscuit

It wont be. Speaking from experience, it will never be a reason, until you make it. And if it is - that is not the right org to join.

Focus on your growth, your work, your well being. And dont let fear win. Good things will keep coming your way.
