How do you shortlist resumes.?

When you have an open position and you start getting tons of resumes,how do you shortlist.? How much time you take to read ? what is that you look into resume ??

Sadly wouldn't make it through unless I've got a reference. This is because I got good budgets to hire. If i didn't have a good budget. I'd have to spend more time unearthing hidden gems. And mind you I've skimmed every single of the 500-600 profiles we got for 7 roles. And when you're hiring for brand, social, brand name matters because that's inherently linked to kitna bada budget handle Kiya and kya bada ukhada hai.

I hire recommended people. Screening resume i for entry roles after that doesn’t matter

ATS to filter out resumes. If there's a tie then there are other factors. After that, they might read manually. If you're a fresher, the tie breaker could be your college's brand or the internship(s) you've done.
