My recommendation is join a course on Udemy (budget friendly) but still great resources that fit your vibe and start there.. You will have more room for exploration considering you are still figuring out..
May be checkout the learning resources of MLOps course from Manifold AI Learning too if that is something that interests you .. I am a front end developer too , and started a course that gave me a picture as how to Deploy the Models with our front end knowledge (though ML Concepts are grey area to me 😅) but did a POC in my project which was a good boost in team and good experience on the same with Data science teams..
