How long should a fresher stay in the first company?

I graduated in 22 and it’s been a year since I joined my first company. Considering the current market situation, switching the company doesn’t seem to be an easy task. I got the opportunities to work on 5 projects in this company and unarguably learned a lot. But now they have put me in the support project saying that they don’t have projects. Wouldn’t lie they laid off approx 1k employees, I and few others are the only saved ones. Would it be a good idea if I stay in this company for one more year while slowly preparing for the switch utilising the amount of time I’d get being in this support project or rush myself to change the company?

Look, I know a lot of traditional recruiters might disagree, but the job market is changing now, especially if you wish to work in "new age" companies or startups

No one really cares if you spent 2 months in your previous company or 2 years, leave as soon as you get a better opportunity

I don’t see any new age companies or startup aligning with my tech stack, what I did and doing in this company. That raises another question, what’s the bare minimum that you should know after being in the corporate for a year?

Eh, I don't know if i should be saying this, but honestly, I feel like I know jackshit I'm a 2022 graduate and have been working since 2018, but honestly, I feel like I hardly know anything at all We're all just winging it, trust me! If you can do tasks assigned to you (with or without Google) you're good to go, I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯

But also, in not a techie, so, please keep that in mind :3
