After the Ambani wedding fiesta I was wondering how much do people generally spend on their weddings?
For context I am 28 M and unmarried so I can't share my expenditures.
Following for some smart ideas. I don't even have much for my wedding, burnt my savings in house construction. 32M here
Although not having a girl is a bigger issue for me atm
In a similar boat. I am the only earning member in my family with dependent parents and I really don't want to take any loans for my wedding.
Mine was done in 7 lakhs...no extra guests, simple wedding with no sho shaan
I'm curious about others' views on this. I'm planning to not spend over 10lakhs (shared with my partner), so 5 lakhs or so. Will most likely wrap it up all in a day. I feel even this amount of expense is a lot.
Definitely not making my parents spend on it.
