How to find high value design projects?
I have a good portfolio and have worked with a few amazing clients in India. But recently I got to know that designers in my circles are making 2/3x of what I'm making. This is because they are working with US clientele. Does anyone here have an idea of how to get $100 per hour projects? I see scaling in upwork very time taking and a lot of effort. Any other way?
What kind of designer projects are you looking for? 100$/hr is a lot (even for US clients) unless it’s for a very specialised design skillset.
If you’re into web and app design, you could join hands with small development agencies. You will bring in design expertise and give them an opportunity to bag larger projects. They will give you access to their American clients; a win-win for both.
Interesting. Thanks, will try this out. I'm seeing people similar to my level of design work getting paid $50-100. So I know it's possible but I need the right approach to make this happen.

And stop calling yourself jobless. Just make a website and call yourself a solopreneur or an entrepreneur. It's trending these days 🙂
Check Shantanu Kumar ‘s youtube channel. He is also a designer. I really liked the the way he is marketing his design projects.
