Smelly coworker
How do I tell them that they smell? Is there any polite way to do this without hurting the relationship?
I have a colleague who has a really low bar on personal hygiene. They smell and this is something I started noticing recently.
Once I started noticing it, I cannot take my mind off it every time this colleague comes near me to talk.
How do I tell them about this? He/She is a very nice person at heart and they probably have no idea about this.
You can discuss in general about how a room smells.. or say.. how you prefer fresh air and stuff.. and slowly tell them about it and include "no offence" in it. That's it..

This roommate also happens to be my friend and has recently picked up smoking on a daily basis. How should I deal with this? I don't want him to smoke within the room, heck I want him to give up smoking. How can I?
