Not at all. It is the bunch of morons who have commercialised it. Astrology cannot be learnt as an isolated shashtra. A true astrologer must know the puranas and Vedas as well. Good institutes like BHU have doled out great astrologers .you just need to find the correct one

Bro if you are looking for a astrologer na, then you have to go and search for traditional pandit. There are people who do all these work. See I get the point, once you commoditise things like astrology then trust is very important. But because these people are in a business, then things becomes messy. People loose trust in astrology, it feels like it is a scam and all. Go and search for a traditional astrologer. It will be difficult for you cuz, you won’t find them online. Waise astrology is not 100% accurate, it just shows the possible scenario that could occur in your life.

But one thing I would mention that, vedic astrology is very old, almost 10k to 15k old. So once you will find a real person you will realise a lot of things.
