Sometimes you have to restrict otherwise the person you are talking to may misunderstand that you have interest in her or him and she or he may try to get too friendly which you wont like specially if at least one of u r in a relationship. The other way round the misunderstanding may happen that you are trying to attract the person and that person may not like it and may go away from you or worst spread something about you or worst complain about you.
