IG is killing me

I use Instagram to see what my friends are doing but most of the time I go to the discover section and keep watching reels for hours.

I just want to see what my friends are doing and share some of my life moments with them - not endless reels and ads.

Do you guys also face the same problem? Is there any private social media where I can just get connected with my friends only?

Uninstall the app and take a break for 6 months.

I know it’s easier said than done but you need to persevere through it.

Uninstall Instagram, and use Wikipedia app instead. It works

Yes but none of my friends even post on ig. All my reels are random creators and memes.
