In 10 yrs would chatgpt annihilate the bpo/kpo industry?
Latest is it passed some test in wharton mba curriculum and also passed the USMLE medical test which has deliberate ambiguity so rote memorization will not work.
More than half of people in service sector in india bpo kpo was already under threat from chatbots.
It depends how specific queries the chatbot can solve. Also human aspect is way more important than people think. Imagine your bank account gets debited 5L without your consent, then when you pick up the phone you don't want a chatbot wasting your time, you want a real person to answer what the f is going on with your account and where is my money
You’ll always need a human rep at the end. BPOs aren’t going away anytime soon.
