Comparable Salary in London
My current salary in India is ~50L (Fixed). What is the approximate salary range that I should consider in London so that I enjoy the same standard of living with similar savings.
Thanks!
I am not from India, moved to London 4.5y ago and I'm considering a move to India.
But I struggle to understand the relationship between salaries <> lifestyle <> money saved each month.
Would be cool to learn everyone's salary, but also your lifestyle and how much you save per month. Can you help with the following template?
Role: City: Salary: Rent: Food: Transport: Savings per month:
Any other costs I should factor in that you feel are necessary to consider?
Thanks for the help!
Mine won't apply to you probably. But with 7 YoE, I save close to 2.9-3L INR per month.(when I adjust for year end-bonus also)
Role: Data Scientist City: Bangalore Salary: 60lpa (52 fixed rest is esops) Rent: 0 (bangalorean forever) Food: just put 7k per month. Max. Parents cook for me so & I spend quite well on weekends Transport: 2k Max per month. I take bike travel 18km 1 side. I don't go everyday. Maybe 10-15 days a month Savings per month: 2.9-3lpa
Can you please give us the same brakedown that you would have in London please?
