Ayo come on bruv I'm non blue tick and have done well across most things I've done
I just hate somebody messaging me at 11 pm, me instantly looking at it, but not wanting to reply back (cuz fuck that). I don't wanna be feeling guilty for not replying at ungodly hours.

Depends on the message throughput. If you get a lot of texts then you would prefer to keep read receipts off, if the texts are more manageable then keeping it blue is fine.
however, I have indeed noticed that people who have read receipts off tend to be lazy repliers. maybe, I am on the wrong side of them or what not. 😂
But something I have observed is that people who reply fast tend to have a strong bias for action and I like working with them.
People who have a sustained behaviour of replying late are plain disrespectful and no one likes texting them.

I'm not very good at replying instantly, my ADD ridden mind with spit out the most random shit and hence I prefer to take my time before I text. This is why, to find that buffer I've turned off the read receipt. Does that make me smart or unreliable?
