India a Cancer Capital + increasing cases of Diabetes, High BP and Mental Health disorders
so, true... every family/ house in a city will have atleast 1 person suffering from minimum one of the mentioned diseases .. The stress levels are just too high. There is so much expectations. most people i know are either close to breaking point or have become totally indifferent in attitude.
I think the reason is that we are adopting western lifestyle instead of preserving our own culture .
Rightly said. If you have a stressful job then have food with Omega 3 fatty acids. They help hugely with combating the stress hormone cortisol. Sea foods and walnuts are plenty rich in Omega 3. Also there are supplements like cod liver oil capsules.
We live in treeless unwalkable polluted environments. Outdoor physical activity is simply impossible. Long work hours and absolutely nothing to look forward to in old age. Our food is carb loaded and completely devoid of nutrients as we basically burn our vegetables. We ask very little of our public infrastructure and we don’t encourage civic sense. We live in smaller and smaller houses and most people barely exercise at all. Even our cops have pot bellies. Oh and not to mention how completely fucking overstimulated we are with noise and inundated home pressures. People don’t even choose quiet , peaceful lives because it is simply not an option to opt out of the way we are taught to live appeasing to older generations. Surprised much?
How are we the cancer capital of the world? Their own data doesn't show it. These Apollo fu**ers just want to earn money from unnecessary early screening and tests. And will force people to go through painful biopsies and treatments when it isn't required. The worst kind of marketing. Just a ploy on playing with people's fear.
Forget Apollo then, look at all the cancer specialised hospitals coming up.
There are two things. A) You have cancer. Then Ideally you shouldn't need to make arrangements to go to Delhi / Mumbai / Bangalore. There should be a hospital within 50/100Kms that can cater to your requirements of chemotherapy B) Screening for early detection of cancer, which all multispecialty hospitals are doing now.
I have problem with B and not A
