It's correct only. Don't know why people in India don't care about littering.
Is there no company in India who handles plastic waste and convert it to something reusable? Every city, mountains, railway stations, bus stops, markets is full of plastic waste.
Dustbins are there but overflows.
How can we solve this issue? I am sure people won't stop littering ever but someone has to take care of it right. Be it private company or govt org.

It's mostly unorganised there is no one big company that manages this , and most of the plastic ( polythene bags and packaging material etc) is just dumped at some land .

Yar mjhe to samjh nhi atta technology itni aage badh gayi hai aur koi is chij p focus kyu nhi kar raha. I am sure plastic decomposition can happen and transform into something reusable. Why not big players (companies) do this. Is it not profitable that's why? Or people in our country love waste.

Chutiya kaat rh Hai!! Brave of him to say that blaming Govt is unfair.

Aise toh kisi bhi problem ki responsibility citizens p Daal do. Aur Sarkar haath upar kare?! Chutiya logic Hai.

Why hold the Govt responsible for national defense? Citizens shud be strong themselves and come forward whenever the Chinese attack.

All metro-cities have incapable, stupid, corrupt municipal corporations who are collecting property tax, waste collection taxes but aren't putting it to work. Cities can have their own rules too. Singapore banned chewing gums in 1992 because they were a nuisance. Most Indian state and Local Govt have fuckall execution of good laws like single use plastic bans, non littering.
