Interview as a service is a fairly new category of startups in the recruitment process. Startups in this category help you to conduct interviews to save opportunity bandwidth for your internal team. Who can focus on their daily tasks.

A lot of the major recruitment firms already do that. They use external interviewers to conduct the technical interview rounds. Also, a lot of the companies won’t agree to that, since the interviews are the ones who would be working with the candidates directly, so they assess it from that standpoint as well.

We tried suggesting this model to Infosys and Mahindra & Mahindra in my previous Org. Unfortunately, they immediately turned it down.

I believe they might be skeptical if the candidate might or might not be a cultural fit.

There is a market for it . https://risebird.io/ did prove that .. but guess they did not execute properly

I've given interviews on intervue.io and interviewvector.com the experience as candidate was nice, they give flexibility to schedule time slots, and questions are company agnostic so less bias in the process.

person on other side seemed genuinely helpful than your avg disgruntled sde2 asked to take interview on Friday evening.

This should work out as win win for the hiring company (usually startups in my experience) and the platform

Isn't this what search firms do, to an extent? Albeit for slightly more senior roles.
