Interview Venture Capital firm

Hi, I'm currently interviewing for a VC firm for the post of analyst. As part of the interview I have been given a task to prepare a PPT about a start up and conduct a market research and present the findings. Could anyone please help me out how to conduct market research like identifying its TAM, SAM, SOM, trends, their business model projections, their strategy..and the list goes on.. Couldn't find where to start.

There's no shortcut to this. Read venture deals, read a bunch of investment theses by popular firms, read MBB reports. All of these resources are a Google search away.

Use perplexity to research about these elements for this start up - basically it would go through all the publicly available data for this startup for you. Can also ask it to repurpose this info for the PPT - design, content, flow etc
