I'm planning to invest in a start up, around 5L for a start. Any good options? Need a start up with a robust environment and solving an actual world problem.

What are the metrics you'll look at? Check their growth rate, revenue, and market potential. Team quality next. If they have a solid product and good user feedback, it's worth a shot. I'm guessing we can't get into hot companies which are chased by surge. How do you actually pick one and invest?
Invest in a sector which you are bullish and diversify as much as possible. Let the pareto principle play out over a decade...
No way to leverage data on early stage.
Rookie answer, but maybe try copying what VCs do. I am pretty sure its a combined formula of taking a chance and data backed thinking
