Is it worth travelling 4 hours daily for a company?

I am currently in the interview stages of a company in the payments domain.

I always wanted to work in this domain due to the nature of the work and I assume working in fintech gives you exposure for better future opportunities.

However, they are completely on site and I will have to travel 1.5-2 hrs daily one way (4 in total) 5 days a week.

Has anyone faced the same kind of dilemma and how have you decided on it?

I am also interviewing for remote companies but they are not part of the payment domain.

Depends on how much they pay. I would sell my soul if I had to

PS: Relocation to a nearby location is not possible since I live in my own house.

I understand some might do that, Just wanted to know the rationale, how did they make up their mind for the same considering I may have multiple options where some orgs are offering remote as well.

4 hrs is difficult . Find place which is affordable for both you and your wife.

Unless it's your company, NO. You will loose your health. When too weak to work, they will replace you. When you have your best health, the company benefits from you. Your family suffers in your worst health.
