Is Karma Real?

Hey grapevine folks,

I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday.

I hope everyone one of you here once in your life have always thought about karma.

Ki if you are doing good deeds , being good to others will result in good karma and you will reap its benefits in future and vice-versa.

But is the above philosophy is valid in today's time in kaliyuga where the money and power rules.

People with connections are creating havoc over normal people.

Shouldn't we now think instead of making our karma good let's do what it takes us to be successful by hook or by crook?

What are your views? And if you have any personal experience please do share it.

Gonna throw a different POV here.

There's nothing called kaliyuga. It's just a concept created knowing the average human's fickle mind and their intentions be it greed or lust, to keep humans living with morals. To be good and do good.

Karma is nothing but what goes around comes around. Or in the end, everything evens out! You win some, you lose some.

No matter what good you do, you can still live an unhappy or dissatisfied life. That unhappiness isn't because of the good you did, but your greed for something beyond your reach or something that's not meant for you.

The one who is smart, meets the right people and develops connections, grabs the opportunity wins things in life. And it's certain that our entire life happens because of mere coincidences!

You can live a life being the most honest, innocent and good-est ever person on Earth and still die a pathetic death with nobody around to save you. It's not karma. But just coincidence!

Think of all the good things and bad things that ever happened to you because of coincidences. You will see things in a whole new dimension.

So as you say nothing is in our control?

Everything is just a mere coincidence?

So this whole puranik theory which says ki

"Auro ke saath acha karo , dont be selfish then tumhare saath bhi sab acha acha hoga"

Is totally flawed right?

Nothing depends on our actions as everything is based on luck and chance?

If you can find an answer to why you met every person in your life till this moment you will not be able to observe any pattern. Even if there are patterns you met them because there was coincidentally something common between you and them at some point in both your lives. You cannot choose or control who you meet in this world.

So here is my thought I have seen this trend - whenever something bad happens we tend to relate it something bad that happened a while ago (so i believe karma always hits back in order to teach a lesson) However when something good happens we dont relate it to any incident - So is this also Karma ??

Ps - I had hurt someone and i got something bad in return. Have not disclosed it to anyone. And due to this I refrain from doing bad anywhere with anyone. I really believe in this karma shit

Yes it is real. This concept can be elaborative, but i will extend your chain of thought by taking up your example.

People who are wreaking havoc on normal people have that power because of their good deeds which were practiced in the past(not limited to this incarnation), but that doesn't mean they won't be held accountable for their present actions. They will pay the price and that too with interest. How? When? and where? all these will be decided by taking into account various other imp factors, but they will be held accountable for sure. Might not be in this incarnation, but may be in the next one or next to next one no one knows.

It is said that your past life’s deeds are related to this life, this life’s deeds will be related to next life. May be you are doing everything good in this life but still facing difficulties so that’s bcoz of bad karma of past life. I feel if you are doing good deeds, God always protects you at the end. There is no better power than God (or call it Universe). So keep doing good.

I have received instant karma if I do something bad. Observing this from childhood. It maybe as simple as mocking someone.

Recently I mocked( in mind) some guy in office who came wearing a riding gear and L board on new bike. The same evening without any fault of mine, got hit by a cab and fell down.Thankfully saved by MT helmet. So, these incidents always keep me grounded.
