Is Kunal Shah really this smart?
Or is it just PR?

Obviously he is smart, I would say genius because he is not just creative, original many a times, but knows what's the bigger game behind. For example, during Freecharge sale, he knows that the wallet market is getting saturated & it would be difficult to out do Paytm. And sold to Snapdeal & got full cash deal around 0.5 Billion valuation, which is like best for the situation. & Put up his thoughts into understanding India & got into the investing side of things. Got involved with IAMI & Sequioa, improved network, invested, had learnings from the access he has during his stint there. And then did his second innings of Cred & and it's quite disruptive & future would say what hold for him. Good to have such original thinkers in Indian startup ecosystem

I have a journalist friend who interviews Kunal and CPO of cred.
She said that we asked regular questions like where the company is going, what's your strategy, opinion, market and similar, he asked his CPO to answer those.
But when asked questions which actually makes him think, then only he takes interest in answering them.
Her opinion is that, he always tries to think out of the box, has weird ideas, connects different nodes and eventually builds a really nice conclusion to execute them.
