Is Wipro safe for a 10 yrs of exp if we join it as a lateral?

I heard that in wipro we don't get more than 3 chance for lateral entry employee to crack the client round. Is that really true ?

How is the job security in wipro for the experienced IT employee on bench and how is it safe to join random?
