ISB product management worth it ?

Anybody here who has done or has any views on the 12 week course by ISB for product management, is it good or just another gimmick course? Also planning my next move so looking at the next courses to upskill!

Don’t think it would be worth it. You can upskill enough by reading a couple Marty Cavan books and reading a few free resources online

Mera manager isb ka tha, ek number ka Chu insaan tha.
Isb bas feeling de deta hai mba ki, kuch sikhata nahi hai, it's just a premium membership club. Tumhare saath waale sab ambitious honge and unme se 3-4 kuch kar guzar jayenge. Tumhare contacts aache banenge.

Ankur warikoo is also from isb. Now you decide

This might help

  • ISB brand on resume
  • The course is good, in terms of real projects (great for someone just entering in the field)
  • faculty is top class - similar to ISB MBA level
    Cons
  • fee
  • not fully immersive

Not worth it. You can do some courses on coursera/udemy if you need to. Books are always there - a lots of them on generic product management

  1. Lean product playboook
  2. Escaping the build trap
  3. Hooked
  4. Super thinking These are some of the books I read.

If you are talking about the course in collaboration with Emeritus - it’s complete nonsense. I used to teach the course. Felt like vomiting at the thought of teaching so much garbage. Please skip it, you are better off paying 500 bucks for one of those PM courses on Udemy.

Also, trust me - online product management courses don’t help you cut into PM roles. Exceptions exist, yes. But you are better off reading books, researching customers, finding out if you can take up PM responsibilities in your current company/role. Good luck!

Reforge Course is better than ISB if you want to learn practical PM job

Depends. Do they have any placement support? If no then it's not worth wasting your money

I'm a marketeer with 10 years of experience and planning on up skilling myself with the know-hows of product management.

I'm considering taking up ISB's Executive Education Product Management Course.

Anyone here that has done the cours...
