Personally I find it encouraging when I see people earning good salaries. It makes me feel happy that good paying jobs exist in India and that people can realistically aim to earn well without moving abroad.

What I can say as my 2 cents are - Do something fun, Challenging and get paid what you think you deserve (ofc based on market research for the same). As long as you are happy in life (assuming you are until you compare with people your age), I think you are fine!
If money is thr Metric you chase( not the right Metric in my opinion, atleast not in your 20s), then so be it! Go for it, see the jobs that pay hell lot of money, work your ass off! Then, become the person who posts here that you earn 60LPA and still don't have any friends, gfs and what not. But hey, you have money, the Metric you chased after!

There will always be someone earning more than you. That cycle never stops. It will always be a rat race.
