John Oliver just dropped a video on McKinsey
The video just explains a lot about McKinsey, BCG and Bain and how they operate. It just makes a lot of sense now how ex-McKinsey/BCG/Bain based founders have such low ethical/moral standards and how work culture is generally terrible in those companies.
Also, do read about Purdue Pharma which is directly responsible for pushing millions into drug addiction in the USA with McKinsey helping them.
It's a must watch and available on YouTube.

Man I finished the episode, I interviewed with McKinsey few years ago and kept wondering why TF their office had no signs! John Oliver is brilliant
I don't know why MBB gets targeted as these big consulting giants when Deloitte is bigger than all 3 combined......
All the good management consulting stuff goes to those 3. They get all the prestigious stuff.
The leftovers are handled by Deloitte and others.
Re: purdue Pharma- watch the tv show Dopesick. Master class on how management can grow delusional and go from good to evil because of corporate greed.
Interesting Can’t wait to watch this
There is a book called When McKinsey Comes To Town by Michael Forsyth and Walt Bogdanich. It’s a very interesting read into how these consulting firms work and the kind of influence McKinsey has. Truly impressive and concerning!
💯
Last Week Tonight did an entire episode about McKinsey
Fair criticisms all around. What do you think?

Did McKinsey hire McKinsey to figure out how McKinsey should do cost cutting in a negative macro environment?
This seems to be true Read on another group It’s starting to feel like the “up or out” culture is back
