Apparently this company is planning to go head to head against openai and Google as an AI chat app using India's data resources. What do you all think about this?

I don’t have enough faith in an Indian player becoming really big in this space as the true moat is only in Foundational models and/or proprietary data.
It's an important space, and apart from the early stage startups, we do need big guns to go for it for sure But I do hope this doesn't lead to existing businesses becoming poor.
Ola Electric has led to Ola becoming a poor product over time.
Andha Paisa ho toh business mein focus ki kya zaroorat...bhasad machaate chalo...
What about his reputation? If this turns out to be a massive fail. People have already questioned his leadership with Ola.
He is full of himself and probably has people ji huzoor people around him...I don't know
The thing is how will they make money in India? Indians don't pay for shit, because Indians are poor.
Indians are kept poor by freebie politics. Rather 'frisbie', free khilao, return votes pao, janta ko aur illiterate bnao. It might sound privileged to some hearing this, and I agree some people might require these subsidies. But a blanket freebie distribution will keep you hooked like infants on sugar.
any evidence of this claim that indians are poor by freebie politics? we have 1.4 billion people, many are below povery line. These are welfare schemes, if we stop giving such, how will they live? they don't have job, 10 lakh graduates pass each year, how many get jobs?
how many companies we have actually making profits? Even west has social security system, unemployment cheque.. Indians want job, they don't have because we are poor, no large business in our country.. Hell even farmers are not getting msp.
we pay taxes, what service do you receive from government? we don't have enough hospitals, poor for-loot colleges, patriarchal society. Medicines are exoensive than before. Please tell me how could one afford these?
We have fubdamental rights only on paper. How many get quality education in 1.4 billion people? I don't see any freebie schemes aroubd me btw, what are you talking about?
His playbook: raise money and grow hyper fast with in a sector. Get some signs of PMF. Raise money again for an adjacent product or something hot. Abandon 1st product, achieve some PMF again. Repeat.
