@JadeArgent I know you're kidding, but honestly, nobody wants to be scammed. People are either misguided, desperate, unaware, holding on strongly to their beliefs, and/or uneducated.
@Elon_Musk It's a failure of the system that fails to teach them the ability to think critically, so calling them dumb is just victim blaming and helps no one. We can do better than that :)

But it is also the systems failure that we do not warn people against these frauds. If a cigarette packet days smoking kills then every astrology ad should also say this is not based on any probable science.
Sure, math may not be a pure science. But it is still largely grounded in scientific process. That's just one part of the argument though.
I've actually met a self taught palmist who was more accurate about my past and present than astrologers. And she didn't even tell me some bits about my future because she believed in not tampering with someone's future. That's how seriously it should be taken. Modern astrology is a joke.

@BoogieMan it is not known to society that astrology is predictive or prescriptive. Almost no astrologer uses the words maybe or probably. They say "this will happen"with certainty instead, that itself is a huge problem.
You don't need to look at stars to make predictions. You just need to look at ground reality. I've been predicting the rise of many apps and businesses over the years, that doesn't make me an astrologer. Just good at guess work based on the info I have.
Mathematics is very much a science, hard numbers and calculations are the only thing that got us to the moon and space in general. Mathematics doesn't change according to who's wielding it. Science and math built the society around us, not astrology. In fact there's nothing guaranteed or replicable by astrology, nothing that can be verified in any manner.
We still have a lot to know and understand about the world, sure. But until we actually do, claiming that we know more than we do based on the word of a few practitioners is childish, naive and wishful thinking. By that logic even tarot card readers can be very accurate sometimes, do you think it's worth taking seriously?
