Laid off, what next?

Over the past two decades I have seen lay offs manifesting in various ways but the recent trend of sudden layoffs and declining empathy is disturbing.

While the decline could have its own reasons one of the best ways to deal with such curve balls is being prepared. Have a multi-purpose toolkit.

This could possibly be a break from a monotonous life and a welcome change to go after what matters. To innovate and to stop suffering or struggling.
