I used to work in python only for data though. Currently learning django to help me write the code for my idea.
I'm working on an idea that would mostly be a web app.
Users can perform actions on the webpage. Imagine interacting with screens and they would just be images, I'd write the other custom logics.
Any recommendations for the tech stack I should learn?
Django is a good enough but for front end use react, some framework
I used to code in C but basic stuff. Django seems to havr simplified a tonne of stuff. How much time does it generally take to learn, (to reach the level of a decent programmer). How long would JS take to learn?
I'm fairly good at coding, writing logics.
I started JS recently for Nodejs and a bit of Angular. I could say that asynchronous and synchronous concepts in JS are the most imp acc to me. That's so damn tricky. There's a course by ZeroToMastery/Andrei Nenagoie on udemy related to these core advance concepts of JS which is a mind blowing course. Since you're great at coding and logic, I would suggest you can explore that once. For me the start of my journey with JS was damn tricky.. But for you I believe it should be a cakewalk! Good luck😊
Plain JS + Django
I would say go for front end framework they help in separating concerns. Back end - Django, front end-react
I would normally agree. But here the frontend use-case is simple enough to be done quickly using Plain JS
