LinkedIn pe rant!
Most of the people just keep adding so many irrelevant pictures to their posts!! I mean what do they get out of it. If it’s anything to do with regards to the picture, I understand. Other than that, it has become a trend to add photos to the posts. They say they will have greater reach and greater views. It’s so annoying. I don’t understand the difference between Instagram and LinkedIn. Most of the time I feel Instagram is better than LinkedIn. All these so called entrepreneurs have also started doing this shit and feels 😖😣
Using since 2013, I have 10k+ connections but never get a job there. Also, the community is shit; if you ask someone to get a referral, there is a chance they won't reply, and if they do, it's just a fake promise. People are using their personal life and stories like a daily vlogger for fam. Everything is just messed up on that platform.
Even Instagram is better than LinkedIn these days. I already uninstalled it last week and never going to install it again.
Right? And people act so fake. Not saying everyone is the same. But, it just feels like a rat race. Someone has posted and has got followers , so let me also do it. Content creation lol.
Not landed a job there. But have been able to research a lot on people, roles and progressions immensely.
If you're viewing it as a platform for getting a job, you'd be terribly disappointed.
It is the algorithm. Posts with pictures get more traction

You can crib so much but can't do much about it honestly...the best thing would be to not pay much attention to these folks... honestly you can't stop them from doing what they can (maybe in a way they have used this to generate a secondary income or what not). Just let them be and stay away from such things
It’s like staying away from good content also then. The worst part is even if k remove these connections, and if any of my existing connection likes their post, it will still be shown to me. I know it’s again the algorithm. But, I understand your point. I will just have to figure out a way to stay away or just use it to the minimal.
