Managing a team of data scientists?
was recently moved to a new team internally inside my organisation to handle a team of 4 data scientists as part of organisation restructuring. I have experience of around 9 years in coding and team handling in software development so I am well aware of all software development lifecycle. I was put into this team as organisation trained me on data science and machine learning for more than 1 year so I can somehow manage understand all nuiances of data science but when it Comes to handling a team what all things I should keep in mind from user story creation and effort estimation perspective?
Since DS is mostly research based, sometimes user stories can take more effort. You have to allow grace to your team members and focus on over all successful project outcomes rather than micromanaging. Focus on more selling the project to upper management
