Married people of GV - How do you split expenses amongst partners?

Was having a discussion with a friend. All solutions look good in theory. Would love to understand practical choices made by people. Also, what do people do when there's a skew in TC between the two spouses (spice? / spices?)

You can go for the 50-50 or one with less conflicts i.e the expenses should be divided based on how much each person earns. If one person earns more, they pay a higher portion of the expense. For example, if your partner earns twice as much as you, they would cover two-thirds of the expense, and you would cover one-third.
Do the same thing for savings.

Usually there's equal. I take care of rent, my partner takes care of the rest(groceries, food etc).
