You can go for the 50-50 or one with less conflicts i.e the expenses should be divided based on how much each person earns. If one person earns more, they pay a higher portion of the expense. For example, if your partner earns twice as much as you, they would cover two-thirds of the expense, and you would cover one-third.
Do the same thing for savings.

Usually there's equal. I take care of rent, my partner takes care of the rest(groceries, food etc).
Dont even think about Segregate expense category wise like rent should be taken care by husband and grocery should be taken care by wife ( or vise versa) . I have seen 27 years old newly married couple fighting because😁 Wife had to pay little extra in water bill for a month and Husband fight back with with over expense handle by him because sister in law came last month and over stayed 2 days 😁😁 And everyone(i.e Me ) started cursing the guy saying how can he think this way about his "Adhi Ghar wali🤪??
