Respectfully, I don't think we can have an unbiased discussion because you work for Swiggy.
As for the scam, let me word it better, for a successful place, unless they're sending out a lot of orders with Swiggy or Zomato (which won't be the case for most joints in most places), they're on the short stick. Those who work with Swiggy/Zomato have told me that the policies of both are hurting them, when it comes to discount, Swiggy/Zomato's markup and how they used to handle refunds.
For most chains in most places, walk in business is going to be more profitable. This shrinks the pool of businesses that can use Swiggy/Zomato. I think numbers game is just against them in most places.
I think it's very relevant since most of India doesn't live in T1 cities where Swiggy/Zomato might be worth it for sellers.
