MPL’s game behind layoff

following events occurred before and after layoff: (Layoff was planned long before just that GST gave a good excuse)

Two months back on call to employees they announced no need to worry we have good run way and we are doing good. They said all are safe.
A month back call happened again for GST calls
GST arrived
A call got scheduled informing mass layoff
Layoff happened, two types of people got affected, firstly who were not needed got laid off because they were being paid more than for what they contribute. Secondly, politics happened and people who are paid reasonably and even people who are getting less salaries and are hard working also got laid off
After a. successful execution of Layoff, since no body pin pointed about why such big cut just after the announcement, again a call got scheduled.
Hikes were announced for all and again the same promises what they did before layoff to all.
Party happened and good sleep because they achieved a great milestone.
next we will get to know after the long weekend.

I am personally in pain seeing such good folks parting ways. Its called backstabbing. I know few folks very personally and they are cream but bad at politics and sycophancy. I hope god put them all in better place.

Severance pay and laptop is not as helpful as a job at this point of time.

The market is not good, MPL should have supported folks who were loyal to them.

It's always the cream who aren't good at politics, get laid off!

The good part is it's a temporary thing and those folks will do much better elsewhere. Just a matter of time mate !

You shouldn't trust MPL founders they are good at politics. But it is predictable , they have done the same thing in the past and previous companies they built. With employees , vendors and many more.

Clear lesson : Loyalty stays till the company needs you post that no loyalty from the company side.

MPL is also a case of financial fraud which is being hidden in the face of good work but now the govt decisions coming in would be a great blow to their business. The only chance they have is mayhem or other subsidiaries where revenue is not being minted so far.
