My post was deleted citing violation of community guidelines. I want to appeal and find out what did it violate. How do I do that?

I posted questioning if special previlages to one gender is harassing another in our IT world. It was leading to a good discussion & frankly it's been underspoken by all.

Want to know what exactly was wrong with that? How do I do this without revealing my identity? (I have a screenshot of notifications)

Hey sorry, we don’t want to take posts down here.

But this post was specially flagged - the user who flagged felt that the content was sexist.

Just trying to avoid gender/caste/group based quarrels here. It’s a slippery slope and will lead us away from the goal of the community.

Hey, people flag for any reason if it inconveniences them. But did you conclude it was sexist? Which part/parts? I am happy to amend it and post it again. But I don't think it was sexist. Please don't play partial too. As per avoiding gender based discussions, you have allowed it if it was about women complaining about victimhood, but you meet out this treatment when it is about men??

I have seen posts discussing 'bro culture' apparently affecting women, gender biased pay gaps etc, some post straightway asking if some sexism exist in Indian startups as a poll & then discusing how women are mansplained etc etc. They were not taken down.

This is a painful issue in Indian startups & painfully understated in IT world. & The poll results were speaking the same thing out, some comments too. Help me repost this the right way if I truly appeared sexist. Else I say that you are being partial to one gender here and that's plain horrible.

Disappointed in you grapevine... Censorship really !? ... That post was stating facts without disparaging any gender. If someone flagged it for being sexist, can we flag users for being snowflakes ? You guys have truly let me down

I hope you get a distinct answer why it was deleted. Can't see any harm in discussing something that is affecting loads of innocent men in and outside of the workplace. Not sure if using words like "suicide" or "rae" as it is was flagged. But, these discussions cannot happen without mentioning these words that relate to these issues. I think we all are mature enough to understand the context here. The poll also had people majorly agreeing to the unfairness of the biased laws.

Yes, hope they point out the pain point & help me do it right rather than plain 'no gender based posts' which is lie & also not right, also because they have allowed it before when it helped a different gender.
