Anyone who says RCB deserves to win - No, they don't. They literally won only 50% of the matches. The only win they had against one of the top 3 teams (current), is SRH - And that also settled the score 1/1.
So yeah, them losing the eliminator is only fair to the top 3.
why anyone “want” them to lose, why can’t they win if they are wining.
I will again explain. They haven't proven themselves against any of the top 3. They lost two again KKR. They lost one against RR. 1/1 tied against SRH. So yeah, while momentum is with them, on a neutral platform, I would give the other teams an upper hand.

Looks like you supported CSK or some other team which didn’t make it to the playoffs.
In reality though, RCB has been playing knockout matches since it’s last 6 games. The last two were direct competition for the playoff position. If either CSK or DC was a better team then they should have easily defeated RCB and would have qualified for playoffs.
Remember WC, India won every match and lost the finale, Aussies on the other hand barely made it and won the finale. How’s this any different?
Although I want the team I am supporting to win the cup, I am also supporting RCB. They came out of nowhere and defeated good teams and won by NRR. Which speaks a lot about them.
