Last night I stumbled upon a wild fact. Turns out, Napoleon, the guy who conquered half of Europe, secretly wrote a romance novel!
The story is about a guy named Clisson, who's basically Napoleon's self-insert. Clisson is a battlefield genius who falls for this pure-hearted girl, Eugenie. They promise eternal love, but then duty calls him to war. While he's out there winning battles, Eugenie catches feelings for another guy, leaving Clisson heartbroken.
The kicker is Napoleon's real life mirrored this tragic story. He faced c*ckoldry and heartbreak, just like Clisson.
Anyway, it's hilarious and kind of tragic how this mighty emperor had such a cringy teenage phase.
Moral of the story? Even the greatest leaders have their awkward moments!
