Need

Hey everyone! I’m early in my career designer with around 2.5 years exp, working remotely for a Big Tech MNC. No hybrid option. The job and pay is great , but I’m feeling isolated now with very limited interactions at work and travelling around is not an option either.

I don’t want this to pause my learning and growth but lately I do feel like I’ve lost my excitement to work like I used to.

Need advice on how can I stay connected, motivated and keep learning in this situation.

If it's not a very small town, you can always play a sport, exercise, join some clubs, go to meetups, or chill with friends or family. This should also mentally recharge you to be able to study for some time at night. I know that you may have already considered all these options, but my point is that it's possible to fulfill your desire for socialization without necessarily relocating. If these aren't valid options, maybe switching would help.

Btw which MNC is it? Asking cuz I'm looking for remote roles as a frontend dev.

Hey thanks!
Yeah I’ve pretty much been trying to follow all this to not stay confined in the house Meet-ups aren’t a thing here really and friends have all moved abroad which again makes me think if that’s an option worth considering, but that’s a different discussion. Also would seriously start putting aside some time to study, it’s a good point!

I’m sorry I can’t reveal the MNC name here but it’s a big tech. Also no frontend roles that I’d be aware of or could recommend for currently, would’ve been more than happy to
