Need Career Advice.

Since January of this year, I have been working as a Software Engineer at a SaaS building start-up based out of Bangalore, and things are going super smooth. When I joined we had 2 clients and now we have over 25 clients and during this process I did play an important role in the development and timed delivery of products that we were building for our clients. As a result, with every project I closed, I got an increment. Its been a year and at this point I don't really write code myself, rather handle clients and help my team develop the products and fix their bugs. Alongside, I have the option to work from home and for the most of it, I opt for the same.

I now feel like I am quite proficient in what I do and I think I am ready for a new challenge. But apparently all the companies that I recently got an interview for or got reached out to, are typical Noida/Gurgaon based companies which don't really align with my goals.

See the thing is, back in college, I did CP for the first 3 years and dreamt of making it to FAANG; couldn't make it, but by the end of BTech, I was quite happy with where I ended up to be. Now I think I will be able to make it to FAANG/Microsoft as I do have 1 year of full time experience, and I don't want all that CP/DSA grind to go into garbage. What should I optimally do?

Should I wait and prepare till I get opportunities from Microsoft whilst working at my current org. or should I join some other org and upskill and then later think of going for FAANG/Microsoft.

What's a "typical Noida/Gurgaon based companies which don't really align with my goals"? You have to be a lot more specific buddy. And why do you feel companies other than FAANG don't ask CP/DSA during interviews? Almost everybody is asking now, skipping CP is not a good decision. You can up skill at your current company or a new company how is that relevant? If you don't like your job switch, if you like it then stay. I don't even understand why are you making a mountain out of a molehill.
