Went to this store that had watches of different brands on display. Was looking at the watches without touching anything or bothering anyone when suddenly this gentleman comes and asks - "Looking for men or women sir ?" to which I reply - "For women". He then asks - "What is the budget sir ?" so I respond politely - "No no, I'm just looking for now". This guy, scans me from head to toe, makes a face and walks away. Then he kept staring at me and my friends until we left the store.
Why does the showroom sales staff believe that they own the store ?
I've experienced this at other places too - I guess it's normal in Bangalore to experience this besides open hostility against the Northerners.
I hope the people of the city see us as one of them - We do not mean harm to anyone. Nor do we live in the city for free, for we pay a super high income tax for the opportunities that we have availed.
