Onsite after resignation?

Hi viners, I have resigned in April from tcs and have 40 days left but today I got a call from management and they are giving me ladoo on UK ka onsite and asking me if I consider. Although I clearly told them that people having more than 15 16 yoe are not getting an onsite opportunity how come I get ? Still they told me to consider. So viners community pls help me what should I do? I know it's onsite lolipop which is almost impossible but I'm still asking. It's a food for thought for me. Please give your suggestions. Thanks viners.

Asl them to start Visa process and you still got month left if they applied for your Visa in this time then stay back in TCS else leave.

I was at cognizant and was promised onsite , so I rejected the offer, but even after 2 years I wasnt offered on site

I m 99 percent sure that they are just making fool of me by giving onsite ladoo. That's why I m hesitating in staying in tcs. Only thing I don't understand why they are trying to retain me this is the 3rd time hr reached to me and everytime with different proposals.

That's true, if the new company is good pay and job then I suggest leave. They play onsite trick with everyone leaving company

Umm. They wanna retain you obviously. If that opportunity is really good (which only you know) and is better than the offer in hand, then i think it can be given consideration. If you aren’t sure that they will stay true on their words then there is no point to contemplate actually.

I think they are just trying to give ladoo of onsite for retaining me, I m 99 percent sure on that only thing not getting is why they want to retain bcoz currently tcs is pressuring their employees to leave but now trying to retain don't know what's going on and this is 3rd time hr approached me for retaining and everytime with different proposals even though I don't have that much experience. Not sure what's going on.

Get more info like how long is opportunity for, project details and package being offered and if you agree then by when VISA processing gets started. This info will help to compare your offer in hand.

Also, inform the manager that until they start VISA processing you won't revert your resignation if u wanna give a try for this onsite.

Like everyone said have all these in writing.

They wont give onsite, its a carrot given for you to stay and for them to look for your replacement.

As per your comments, offer in hand is not much attractive. You may even reject the offer if you get better offer from other company. Just think onsite as another offer and compare with outside offer. Only caution to take, just like offer letter, take promises in writing better ask for tcs uk offer letter, which you should get if you are going for long term mentioning your salary in uk in euros.

Other offers are not that bad also kind of average you can say but yeah for onsite need to ask everything in writing else no use of verbal promises. Thanks
