Login and pretending to be login. I pretend from 10, but actually I login at 11. Now I pretend to logout at 05:45, but I logout at 05:00. Simple!
If your org is all about numbers than better start pretending! Stuffs I do in 15-20 mins, and my mood says to stretch it to 2-3 hours. Bookmark this wisdom.
Yeah me to.. I log in at 9... And "work" till 9pm.
But usually I work around 3-4 hrs a day. If I finish early and be productive, they just dump more work or micro manage.
This login logout thing is such a cute thing inspired from MNC cultures. Startups like navi in India don't care for this nonsense. You're alive no???? you're as logged in as humanly possible !!!
Along with hours of work, please also measure compensation per hour. Companies feel that if they pay you enough, you should be willing to put in more hours, especially in these days where companies are looking to let go of under-performing employees. Another way of looking at it is to improve your efficiency and achieve more in fewer number of hours, and then do what @satan does - pretend that you put in all those additional hours
