me on indisciplinary grounds. The manegement also cited that I've been quite notorious with taking a lot of leaves during my stint at this particular place and they aren't appreciative of that. They also mentioned that if they grant me a leave, it'll showcase that they are biased towards me and hence other employees will ask for leaves as well.

I'm really concerned and I am considering resigning given how the situation is. I have a lot of other issues with the firm and if I had to cite them, it'd be a 4000 word essay.

Confused as what should I do.

OP, you work in a toxic workplace.

This is not bonded labour. You work, to able to earn to live a good life.

Life = spending time and being there with family/ friends / hobbies.

If you find that you have to justify and give 100 reasons to take a few days off which you are entitled to, that is a red flag.

Please find another job and quit asap.

Don't forget to leave a Glassdoor review of this organization on your last day.

They will forever guilt trip you, threaten you and ruin your mental health. Don't waste any more time of your life here.

Hi @BurnItAll , thanks for your comment. I know, I absolutely know but my manager tells me that this is common? She tells me that you'll face such people even ahead and in even worse situations. The point why I'm angry is that firstly I'm not in the middle of any deal that it's extremely urgent for me to stay back, had that been the case, I'd have not applied for a leave in the first place and second, my leave my lookout, I don't want to be lectured on what's important and what's not fr
