This could be definitively be a death nail for Cred credit card payments. PhonePe would definitively scoop up a large number of users who use Cred only for credit card payments. Thoughts?
Paytm also had credit card payments but how much of CRED's market did it eat?
PhonePe has the largest user set with their data synced already. Ultimately, it comes down to how efficiently they can increase adoption (which I strongly believe they will). Absolutely. Paytm is too cluttered and spammy. I'd happily get rid of cred, if phonepe can integrate this well in a clean manner
What cred does that freecharge don't ?
Kunal Shah sold freecharge to start cred now he got everything to cred that was there in freecharge
There is still a meaningful base which uses Cred for credit card bill payments. Phonepe has had CC payments for a while and haven’t managed to get users to switch. I don’t checking of score would do it for them
Cred has the Fancy UX for sure..isn't it?

Why do this when there are no UPI fees and an abundance of UPI apps already?
No hate. Just curious why they’d build this
