One of my friends recently received a counter offer from one of the MNC company.. So if the company offers a counter offer and After that he still doesn't join..then in that case is there any concern about the risk of being blacklisted as he might not choose to join the company even after accepting their counter offer. 
Is there a possibility of affecting his future opportunities with the same company? Do they black list for rejecting their counter offer?

I was in manual testing for 2 years. Left my job. Joined scaler. Cleared some mock interviews (except DSA). I am in desperate need of a job in developer role(full or backend). I need to clear DSA and ReactJS mock interview in order to be eligible for placements at scaler. I don’t see any other option now. And talking about DSA I don’t feel confident enough. Sometimes I go blank when there is a question. I don’t know to prepare DSA smartly and fast. Kindly suggest what should I do. 
(I’m not that bad at DSA. It’s just I’m not confident enough).

Product Folks - CV Review

This is my first job out of college, my title is associate software engineer, salary is not bad just average. But my role has no coding aspect at all. My responsibilities are mostly run the macros/bots assigned to me, monitor them, escalate if something goes wrong. The only good thing is my title and progression is the same of that of a Dev. Other friends who joined with me were put into QA or dev roles seemingly randomly.
I'm worried about my future prospects. Should i look for dev roles, Maybe try pivoting to DevOps roles? Or should i stick with this type of role for a few years? I have heard production support engineers at FAANG are paid similar compensation compared to their dev counterparts

Mphasis, the 26-year-old mid-cap IT services firm, stands out as the only listed IT company in India that is majority-owned by a private equity firm, Blackstone. Unlike its peers that are loudly proclaiming their preparedness for generative AI, Mphasis is taking a more understated approach, focusing on "real business cases" rather than mass training programs.

Blackstone's influence is becoming increasingly visible at Mphasis. Since increasing its stake to 55% in 2021, the PE firm has been driving operational changes, including the introduction of an internal gig work platform called "Geek Cloud" and a profit-and-loss tracking system that holds each employee accountable for client accounts. 

This unconventional approach sets Mphasis apart from the industry norm. While peers disclose detailed workforce metrics, Mphasis keeps a low profile, avoiding the limelight. Analysts believe this freedom to operate out of the public eye is a strategic advantage, as Blackstone prepares the company for an eventual exit.

However, this Blackstone-Mphasis alliance is a double-edged sword. While Blackstone's backing provides operational and financial muscle, Mphasis saw revenues plateau last year, unlike its faster-growing competitors. The PE firm's focus on short-term goals ahead of an exit could also come at the expense of long-term growth.

Packaged food brand MasterChow is raising $5 million from Tanglin Venture Partners, as it looks to grow its sauces and noodles business. The company has seen its revenues increase from Rs 3 crore in FY22 to Rs 8.2 crore in FY23.

Bubble tea chain Boba Bhai is negotiating a fresh funding round of Rs 30-50 crore, as it aims to capitalize on the growing popularity of bubble tea in Indian metros. The company claims to achieve 70% gross margins.

The broader food and beverage segment is seeing heightened investor interest, with deals like Khazanah Nasional Berhad's $50 million investment in Wow! Momo and Third Wave Coffee's $35 million Series C round. Early-stage activity is also robust, with startups like Pizza Wings, Burger Singh, and Ghost Kitchens raising funding this year.

Chinese internet giant Tencent has offloaded 1.3% in PB Fintech, which owns insurance platform Policybazaar, for Rs 1,080 crore ($129 million) over the last two weeks. This was a bulk deal in the public market.

Tencent’s shareholding in PB Fintech will reduce from 6.2% to about 4.9%, which will be worth more than $340 million. Last year, Tencent sold a 2% stake for $68 million, and since then, PB Fintech’s share price has doubled.

Tencent was an active investor in Indian startups until 2020, when the Indian government put curbs on investments from Chinese companies following border clashes. PB Fintech founder Yashish Dahiya spoke out against China’s aggression in 2020, saying he would buy back Tencent shares if the opportunity arose.

Tencent’s share sale follows Tiger Global and SoftBank Vision Fund’s full exit from the Indian unicorn. SoftBank made $640 million on its $200-million investment, while Tiger netted $232 million on its $44-million bet.

I have a YouTube channel around tech and entrepreneurship. I would like to conduct a learning session with guests from tech , product , business field . We can take a problem and try to work through it to showcase how we approach a problem. I am not too keen on generic high level discussion.

I would say the Nash Equilibrium for me. 

Essentially, It is a stable state of a system where no participant can gain by a change of strategy as long as all the other participants remain unchanged.

Imagine if @BiryaniEnthu and @potatomato are captured by Grapevine. They are taken into two different rooms and given an option to confess or deny that they stole Grapes. 

The rules are as follows:
1. Both deny then, both can't use Grapevine for 2 days.
2. If @BiryaniEnthu confesses and @potatomato doesn't then, @BiryaniEnthu can't use Grapevine for 1 day but @potatomato can't use it for 10 days.
3. If @potatomato confesses and  @BiryaniEnthu doesn't then, @potatomato can't use Grapevine for 1 day but @BiryaniEnthu can't use it for 10 days.
4. If both confess then, both can't use Grapevine for 3 days.

So, what is the optimal strategy?

For @BiryaniEnthu, if p confesses then, best option is to confess else they will get punished for 10 days.
For @BiryaniEnthu, if p denies then, best option is to confess because they will get punished for 1 day only.

Same applies for @potatomato, their best option is to confess too because of symmetry in the matrix.

But did you notice one thing? When both confess, both will get 3 days punishment, which is the Nash Equilibrium state which is extremely stable as it covers downside risk.

However, the global maxima for both was when both will deny it, so that both get 2 day punishment but this is an unstable state because it relies on the assumption that the other person will deny, especially when the other person knows that confessing will lead to a better outcome.

Hence, there is a tension between individual rationality and group rationality. The Nash Equilibrium represents a situation where, despite the possibility of a better global outcome, the self-interest of each player leads them to a less optimal, but stable, outcome.

I was looking for job for 1.5 years, I studied and learnt a lot. Now I got a job and noticed that I am not getting opportunity to learn or study anything new.
My profile is TS based Node. Js. While taking my interview, they asked everything in backend docker etc and somehow I cleared given that I did not knew much. While joining I was glad that since this job will require all these things, I will get to learn it from other folks given that how I am weak in these things.
But now after joining there, all the pomp is gone. Docker image was setup once and now all we are asked is to clone a reponand write(read copy) some lambda function from already written repo by senior and it is too much to write and time consuming. 
I am not getting time and opportunity to learn and honestly even udemy or YouTube tutorial is not enough to learn what real work in company teaches.

Can you folks please help????

Unable to learn and self study after getting job

I am with 3.9 CTC with nearly 2 yr experience, working in manual testing background,I want to shift to other role, I built skills on Cloud and Spring framework but want to work on hands-on to have clear understanding.

I feel overloaded with manual testing and its work with evidences and retest and validations and also working overtime on this.

So, I want to shift to work on technologies, where my efforts are more recognised and help my personal growth and my efforts are put into creating something.

Hi everyone,

At the end of July, I applied for an Application Developer role at Accenture. My application status changed to "Interview," and I received a call a week ago asking if I was available for an interview the next day. Due to poor health, I politely informed them that I was unavailable on that day but could attend on any other date. After this, I received an email stating that the role was already filled, and my application status changed to "Not Considerable Anymore." Despite this, many relevant roles are still available. However, when I try to apply, it says, "Application already exists." Can anyone help me with this situation or provide a referral? Is there anyone from Accenture who can assist?
