You can ask them to compensate your PTOs by reducing the notice period by same amount.
If you have good relations with Manager then they would try to get you out asap.
Also you can make up some excuse that you need to go home etc and won’t need to vacate house by so and so date and so can’t stay longer than this period.

15 days is unrealistic, so have to talk to new company’s HR and ask for buyout. Else you will have to negotiate very hard in current company. But 15days notice period is also difficult to ask for

Everybody knows that Indian companies have minimum 60 days notice. Tell the new company they need to buy out your notice.
Don't abscond / burn bridges for this new offer. Whatever you do, make sure it is clean and you get all your relieving letters and F&F.
Speak to the new manager if you need to, sometimes recruiters are just chasing their own targets and cause unnecessary stress to candidates.

Many GSIs in India have changed their notice period section to reflect 3 months by employee 1 month by employer. Is this even legal ? Can you challenge this during your employment tenure ?
