PMs in the (Generative) AI space
How does someone with 0 background in AI have enough knowledge to clear interview rounds at a company primarily into AI?
Also, what kind of skills should I expect to put to use (barring the usual PM skills) to be a great PM in that space?
In general, how to become a great AI PM?
(I’m a non-engineer who found a break into Product after a year in Sales and shitty MBA from a T3 college)
As the basic’s of PMing is clear to you. What i can suggest is to first understand What is AI in general.
Dont go for technical aspects yet. First understand the definition. Once its clear, slowly understanding each component.
Keep playing around and reading as they say fuck around and find out.
Take up a data science course. Almost all Hiring managers need the candidate to have some background in Data Science.
