Pros and cons of moving to the States

Up until recently I was of the opinion that moving to the US is not at all great giving all the uncertainty around visas, jobs, safety and racism.

However, lately my cousin and his husband who went to the States 3 yrs ago for masters both got H1B while a junior got a full scholarship on tuition fees from Stanford and Harvard for MBA.

I now think maybe my thesis is wrong and I am seriously considering a master's primarily out of FOMO I guess. Narrowed down on a 1 year tech MBA from NYU and Cornell.

Racism, riots may be new to US and more recent phenomenon. But what they already have is infrastructure. I don't mean the roads and cars but all physical infrastructure. Like an efficient judiciary, bureaucracy, education process etc.. those are there to stay. That is missing in India.
So even with all riots and shooting and racism, US is by far the best place to be. India is no where close.

Well if you want to move to tech then MBA tech is good for product/program management but if you were considering of pivoting to Consulting/ Finance then I would definitely recommend UK like LBS , Oxford - said business school or INSEAD FRANCE or HEC PARIS these all are great options considering the ROI , visa norms and higher chances of offer in European or UAE regions
